Avery Dennison launches AD Nanoblock, a powerful square inlay for space constrained environments

Avery Dennison has announced the launch of AD Nanoblock, a powerful HF/NFC inlay and one of the smallest on the market.

Designed to deliver exceptional performance within apparel, healthcare, beauty, food and beverage applications, or any other space constrained environment, the inlay complements consumer engagement, product authentication and brand protection initiatives. It is available with the NXP ICode Slix HC chip and the new ICode 3 chip.

With an antenna size of just 4.5 x 4.5 mm, the AD Nanoblock is intended for tagging where space is at a premium. It is currently available as a Dry and RIF Wet (Wet+) inlay.

The AD Nanoblock is fully compliant with the ISO/IEC 15693 and NFC Forum Type 5 standards, which allow it to be read by both HF-RFID readers and all smartphone models. It is also compliant with ISO 9001:2015 quality management and ISO 9001:2015 environmental management, which ensure a reliable and state of the art product that meets a variety of application needs.
