Soyang Europe secures UK distribution partnership with Platinum Technologies Liyu

Soyang Europe has become the official distributor for Platinum Technologies Liyu in Great Britain.

Headquartered in China, Platinum Technologies Liyu is a manufacturer of solutions across the large format and industrial print markets. Its printers combine advanced engineering with user focused design to deliver exceptional print quality, speed and reliability, empowering customers to unlock new creative possibilities and drive greater efficiency across signage, display, décor and packaging applications.

The new partnership will drive further growth of the manufacturer’s printers across England, Scotland and Wales. By combining Platinum Technologies Liyu’s established print technology with Soyang Europe’s customer focused approach, the collaboration will offer users enhanced confidence, dependable performance and comprehensive long term production support.

Among the solutions is the Liyu Signature H3340, a UV hybrid printer that can run at speeds of up to 350 square metres per hour in high productivity mode. The machine will be unveiled at FESPA Global Print Expo in Barcelona (stand 3-C121) as part of the new Signature Series. The device can print at a high resolution of 2400 dpi in a wide range of colours including CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white and various neon ink options, and will be accompanied by two additional models including a flatbed/roll to roll machine and a five metre machine.

Visitors to Soyang Europe’s demonstration facility will also be able to view the Platinum KCXL+ flatbed UV printing machine, which has a top speed of 400 square metres per hour. Also capable of printing at a resolution of 2400 dpi, the solution has a bed size of 3.05 x 2.05 metres and can print on a wide range of media up to 100 mm tall, opening up a host of opportunities to users seeking expansion into key, profitable areas such as window graphics, wall coverings and canvas print.

The Liyu Platinum PCT LED, a roll to roll machine that can print at 120 square metres per hour on media as wide as 3.2 metres is also on display at Soyang in Accrington. Designed with versatility in mind, the device delivers vibrant, high quality prints across a host of materials, making it the ideal choice for signage, textile, promotional graphics and interior décor applications.
