Roland DG is set to showcase two revolutionary products at the NEC this February. At Printwear & Promotion 2025, Roland will unveil the TY-300 direct to film printer. Meanwhile, at Sign & Digital UK 2025, the TrueVis XP-640 – the fastest eco solvent printer in Roland DG's current line up – will make its UK debut.
Sign & Digital UK, a key event in the industry calendar for over 35 years, is renowned as a launch pad for new products and an economic driver. Its 2024 co-location with Printwear & Promotion Live! drew over 8000 attendees – and Roland DG is excited to be back at the NEC from 23 to 25 February 2025.
The TY-300 DTF production transfer printer/cutter has already turned heads in the decorated apparel market since its Japanese debut in September 2024. Now, this next generation marvel is coming to Europe in January 2025.
Designed with advanced printheads and a new generation of DTF inks, the TY-300 delivers razor sharp details, from fine lines to small text and stunning photographic designs. The TY-300 will launch with an optional in line shaker/dryer unit, offering a full DTF production set up from Roland DG to complement the entry level BY-20.
Visitors can also explore the VersaStudio range, featuring compact, user friendly solutions that deliver professional quality. Highlights include the BD-8 desktop UV flatbed printer, BN and BN2 Series Eco-Sol printer/cutters, MPX-90S metal printer, BY-20 DTF printer, and GS2-24 desktop vinyl cutter. These tools empower businesses to create high quality customised products and drive profitability.
Leading the line up is the TrueVis XP-640, the newest addition to the company’s flagship large format printer series. This advanced printer raises the bar with dual staggered printheads and two ink configurations, offering the choice between blazing seeds or exceptional print quality. With the addition of vibrant red ink alongside orange and green, its expanded colour gamut ensures unmatched accuracy for raster images, spot colours, and more.
Another highlight on the stand will be the VersaObject CO-300iF2 flatbed UV printer, the perfect solution for customising boards or objects up to 242 mm in height, including irregular 3D objects. Using the latest Eco-UV EUV5 inks, this printer can print onto a virtually limitless range of flexible and rigid substrates and objects.

The broader TrueVis range will also be on display, including the LG-640 UV roll to roll printer/cutter and the VG3-540 eco solvent printer/cutter. Additionally, the popular VersaObject MO-240 flatbed UV printer will showcase its exceptional productivity for direct to object printing. This high definition, high productivity printer allows for the reproduction of small letters, fine textures, gradations, and colour matched graphics with ease onto a vast range of objects and substrates.
Roland DG’s head of sales for the UK and Ireland, Rob Goleniowski, will join the SDUK Printer Panel, which will explore recent technological advancements, their applications across industries, and the trends they address. Speakers will showcase innovations that enhance reliability – such as software and remote diagnostics – and discuss how these tools boost productivity and streamline workflows. The session will also highlight the critical role of innovation in driving industry growth and supporting customer success.
‘Printwear & Promotion and Sign & Digital UK are cornerstone events for Roland DG, and we are thrilled to be back,’ said Rob Goleniowski. ‘These shows are not just about unveiling innovations – they are about connecting with our customers, understanding their challenges, and supporting their growth. Through these conversations, we ensure our solutions continue to meet the industry’s evolving demands.’
Roland DG will be on stand H30 (hall 19) during Printwear & Promotion 2025 and stand Q30 (hall 20) during Sign & Digital UK 2025.
