Markem-Imaje manufacturing site earns EcoVadis gold sustainability rating

Markem-Imaje, global provider of end to end supply chain solutions and industrial marking and coding systems, has announced that its Keene, New Hampshire, USA, manufacturing site has earned a 2025 EcoVadis gold sustainability rating. The gold rating places the Keene site in the top 5% of rated companies worldwide for overall sustainability performance.
The recognition continues a strong multiyear EcoVadis track record for the Keene facility, which has achieved scores of 68 in 2021, 70 in 2022, and 80 in both 2024 and 2025. The most recent assessment highlights further progress in the environment and sustainable procurement categories, reflecting the company’s focus on responsible manufacturing practices and a more sustainable supply chain.

‘EcoVadis gives us an independent view of how we are performing and where we can keep improving,’ said Shawn Marsh, global director of quality and EHS at Markem-Imaje. ‘Maintaining an overall score of 80 shows how committed our Keene team is to operating a safe, efficient, and responsible manufacturing site that supports our customers and community for the long term.’
The Markem-Imaje Keene site serves as a flagship manufacturing location for the company, producing high performance industrial printers and wax based Touch Dry inks that are used by customers around the world for quality, sustainable case and product coding. The company views the EcoVadis assessment as both validation of existing efforts and a roadmap for future improvements in its New Hampshire operations.
