Kornit Digital has announced a strategic collaboration with Fashion-Enter for Leicester Made 2025, a leading showcase of ethical manufacturing, technological innovation, and future focused fashion.
Taking place on 14 May 2025 at Athena in Leicester, the event brings together top retailers, manufacturers, NGOs, educators, and policymakers to celebrate and accelerate the growth of responsible, UK based fashion production.
Real-Time Fashion, Made to Inspire
At the heart of the event, Kornit will deliver a fully interactive, real time production experience. Up to 100 attendees will create bespoke t-shirt designs live, transmitted instantly to The T-Shirt Company for printing using Kornit’s sustainable direct to garment (DTG) technology, and returned within hours.
This showcase will be powered by the Atlas Max, a high performance DTG system that combines industrial reliability with outstanding print quality.
Featuring XDi technology, Atlas Max enables dimensional graphic effects – emulating screen printing, vinyl, and embroidery in a single, automated system. Designed for efficiency, it reduces cost, floor space, and waste while maximising throughput and profitability.
In partnership with De Montfort University, six emerging designers will be able to design their own bespoke fabric which will be digitally printed to create original pieces for the Leicester Made catwalk. Their work will spotlight the creative potential of Kornit’s roll to roll innovation and the role of digital technology in empowering the next generation of talent.
These garments will be produced using the Presto Max, the most advanced roll to roll digital textile solution on the market. With XDi powered applications, brilliant whites on darks, and a vivid colour spectrum, Presto Max unlocks limitless design possibilities while setting a new standard for sustainability and efficiency in textile decoration.
Guy Yaniv, president EMEA, Kornit Digital, will join the CEO roundtable, hosted by MP Liz Kendall, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. This invitation only discussion will gather industry leaders to explore how innovation, ethics, and local supply chains can drive the next era of UK manufacturing.
Kornit’s chief product officer Danny Gazit will also participate in the event’s Technology & Innovation Panel, offering insight into how digitisation and automation are enabling more agile, responsive, and sustainable fashion supply chains. Additionally, Guy Yaniv will present a dedicated keynote address, sharing insights on how it is possible to harness the digital revolution for sustainable profitable growth in the fashion supply chain.
‘Speed, agility, sustainability, and creativity are the new foundations of fashion – and Leicester Made is the ideal stage to demonstrate what is possible,’ said Guy Yaniv. ‘Together with Fashion-Enter, we are proud to showcase the talent, technology, and partnerships driving the future of on-demand production.’
‘This partnership reflects what is possible when innovation meets opportunity,’ added Jenny Holloway, CEO of Fashion-Enter Ltd. ‘Kornit shares our mission to empower ethical, scalable UK manufacturing, and together we are giving designers, students, and retailers the tools to lead with purpose.’
