The European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) has announced the official call for papers for the fifth edition of the Industrial Print Integration (IPI) Conference, taking place on 24 to 25 November 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Düsseldorf/Neuss, Germany.

As a leading event for industrial and functional printing, IPI 2026 will bring together suppliers, OEMs, integrators, and research and development leaders to explore the latest advancements in digital inkjet, spray coating, aerosol, EHD jet, capillary printing, and other emerging deposition technologies.

IPI 2026 is now inviting submissions on a wide range of topics, including:

  • Precision and ultra high resolution printing.

  • AI powered automation and robotics integration.

  • Sustainable ink and process innovations

  • Energy efficient curing (NIR, UV, plasma).

  • Mass customisation and personalisation.

  • Circular economy and waste reduction.

Applications of interest span printed electronics, packaging, home and automotive interiors, bio medical and pharmaceutical, textiles and technical textiles, additive manufacturing, and more. The conference will also address pressing industry challenges such as near shoring, on-demand production and regulatory compliance.

Why submit? IPI 2026 offers a platform to showcase how your technology enables performance, reliability, and sustainability in industrial printing. Presentations should be informative, educational, and non commercial, with a focus on sharing insights and fostering collaboration.

‘Industrial and functional fluid deposition is evolving rapidly, driven by the need for sustainability, flexibility, and innovation. At IPI 2026, we aim to highlight the technologies and strategies that are shaping the future – from micro factories with minimal carbon footprints to smart packaging and regulatory ready solutions. This is where the industry comes together to move projects forward and build lasting partnerships,’ said Peter Buttiens, CEO of ESMA.

Submission guidelines

Submit a title and abstract (approximately 150 words), speaker’s profile photo, and bio (approximately 50 words).

Optional: include photos of the discussed technology/application for promotional use.

Deadline for submissions: 31 May 2026.

E-mail submissions to: mb@esma.com.
