Full Vision, the Essex based large format print and event branding provider for the events industry, is ramping up its UK and European production power with a major EFI technology upgrade supplied by CMYUK. The company has invested in two EFI Vutek M3h UV-LED hybrid printers that will be installed at its purpose built facility near Stansted Airport.

‘The EFI investment from CMYUK is all about giving our clients even greater speed, efficiency and capacity as we continue to grow,’ said Sam Tanner, chief executive officer, Full Vision. ‘We work in a very last minute world, and our clients need us to say yes, when others cannot. The new EFI M3h printers give us the headroom to keep doing that as volumes increase in the UK and across Europe.’

Founded in 2016, the company has grown to more than 60 full time staff. Today, Full Vision delivers event branding, large format graphics and visual solutions for many of Europe’s leading exhibition organisers, venues and global brands.

The new M3h printers replace the company’s two existing Vutek GS3250LX Pro UV-LED hybrid printers that have underpinned the company’s UK growth since they were purchased from CMYUK a decade ago. These trusted workhorses, still consistently delivering superb quality, are being transported and installed at Full Vision’s Spanish company in Valencia.

‘Bringing the new M3h printers into our UK facility, and having our older printers go to Spain, the increase in our daily production capacity is going to be significant,’ explained Sam.

Full Vision considered other manufacturers’ printing equipment, but operations director Jason Holt, having worked extensively with CMYUK and EFI over many years, recommended that the company remain with the platform. This protects the efficiency of established production workflows, software, in-house expertise, and ensures a homogenised production experience between the UK and Spain.

The M3h is regarded as the worthy successor to the GS series.

Higher speeds and increased productivity will allow Full Vision to handle greater volumes, be even more responsive to ever decreasing lead times and last minute requests, which are fast becoming the norm. It offers production to point of purchase quality printing, outputting up to 40 boards per hour, managed by continuous media loading detection, and dual roll printing that handles different jobs on each roll.

Energy efficient, the M3h platform aligns with the company’s sustainability strategy that includes solar powered electricity, and waste wood heating. The investment also supports its strategy of bringing more production in-house across its UK and Spanish operations. The M3h increases uptime and productivity with instant on/off lamps and less maintenance. It drives down operating costs with less energy consumption and fewer consumables. Media and ink waste is significantly reduced too, due to consistent colour output and simple operation. The increased productivity will help to reduce overtime and the need for 24 hour shift patterns, aiding cost control and improving staff welfare.

Full Vision values working with CMYUK, regarding it as a long term, trusted partner that has supported the company from its earliest days. The relationship has strengthened over time and today, CMYUK is seen as the natural choice for major technology investments, providing the right equipment, experience, and continuity to underpin the company’s ambitions.

Moving forward, the company is well placed to capitalise on its momentum with EFI firepower firmly at the centre of its next phase of growth. The combination of high performance technology and the strategic way that capacity has been balanced between the UK and Spain gives the business the speed, flexibility, and capabilities it needs to take on more complex, high value work. Underpinning this is Full Vision’s unique selling point: a service culture built on responsiveness, value, and attention to detail, supported by bespoke workflow and client management systems that make briefing, proofing, and approvals fast and seamless.

Sam continued, ‘With this EFI investment, we are not just adding firepower; we are building the capacity, efficiency and sustainability we need to continue supporting our clients as Full Vision grows across the UK and Europe.’
