Blocks has announced the launch of its latest 3D printer, the Blocks RF50, a device designed to transform production in the realms of engineering, and specialised manufacturing. Developed to offer precision and performance, the Blocks RF50 is set to redefine standards in big volume, high resolution, and high speed 3D printing.

Developed with cutting edge technology, the Blocks RF50 is engineered to meet the demanding standards of industries like aerospace, precision moulding, advanced engineering, and product development. The RF50 can produce intricate, highly detailed components with micron level precision. This makes it ideal for applications requiring exacting tolerances and complex geometries, such as custom aerospace components, detailed mould prototypes, and finely crafted engineering models. The RF50 brings a new level of accuracy and adaptability to sectors where design precision and manufacturing flexibility are essential.

‘We designed the Blocks RF50 to address the growing demand for big volume, fast, adaptable, and precise 3D printing technology in high stakes fields,’ said Duarte Bragadesto, CEO. ‘This launch brings to the market a powerful tool that not only improves product quality but also significantly reduces lead times, giving our clients the competitive edge they need in an increasingly fast paced environment.’

‘Our vision with the Blocks RF50 was to set a new standard in 3D printing for industries demanding both precision and efficiency,’ said Alexandre Guerreiro, CTO. ‘With advanced tech specifications, the RF50 is engineered to handle complex, large scale projects with accuracy and speed. We are especially proud of its innovative design, optimised to deliver high performance printing for sectors like aerospace, product design, and engineering.’

The features of the Blocks RF50 make it an ideal choice for industries that demand speed, reliability, and precise quality in additive manufacturing. Blocks is also working on a future upgrade with an Automated Control Filament System – set to be introduced in the second half of 2025. This innovative feature will offer fully automated filament management, including real time monitoring of filament use, automatic spool switching, and precise material flow control to minimse waste and ensure consistent print quality. Designed to enhance productivity and reduce downtime, the Automated Control Filament System will be available as an upgrade kit for existing RF50 units, empowering users to achieve even greater efficiency and reliability in their 3D printing operations.
